Lowering his voice, my father took on a fairly serious tone, "Do you see that? It's following us."
He was an investigator at the time - a quite clandestine investigator - so, such an announcement evoked images of a long black sedan.
Apparently it had been following us for awhile. Maybe ten minutes; but, he had been observing it quietly.
We were on a road trip West, somewhere in South Texas, around ten o'clock at night.
My mother quickly turned around in her seat, looking first out the rear window of our vehicle, then in the rear view mirror of her passenger side.
A young girl, I turned around in the backseat to see for myself what he was talking about.
The highway was dark and empty.
"It's over us," he said calmly, steady at the wheel, easy on the accelerator. "Keep an eye on it if you can... tell me what you see."
She reported, "My god, it's huge... it's right over us. I can see the edge of it. It's dark and round. Lisa, stay put. And DON'T get close to the window..."
I obliged, but sat frustrated to be missing out and hoped it would reveal itself to me outside my window without endangering us.
I wouldn't have long to wait.
We traveled another ten miles or so in silence before the object moved to the right of the vehicle and dropped to eye level, pacing Dad's suped-up surveillance Chrysler. It paralleled us for another ten minutes from fifteen to twenty feet away.
It was a very sleek, dark - nearly black - thinnish disk maybe fifteen to twenty feet across, staying with us a total of about thirty minutes before rapidly accelerating at a low angle to the northwest and out of view...

Renewed public clamor for official disclosure relative to UAP and non-human intelligence, black budgets and reverse engineering programs continues. As does tension among 1) the military-industrial complex 2) elected oversight representatives seeking whistleblower protection and claims to uncovered tech; 3) black program insiders seeking release; and 4) a public, long suppressed via a misinformation campaign - and confined to an ever-shrinking world ruled by environmental destruction, war, poverty and societal division.
Amid the possible reintroduction of a revised version of the Schumer-Rounds legislation, and some critical protections already secured, that tension continues to lead to the thinning of cover, a blending of opposing objectives, and, most recently, the "catastrophic" release of archival witness accounts, with increasing indications of a forthcoming tsunami.
